Ibadan Film Circle to host Adebayo Faleti

The Ibadan Film Circle has concluded plans to host veteran poet, writer and actor, Adebayo Faleti, on Friday. 

The IFC is an online platform that promotes development in film and other related areas. According t a statement by a member of the platform, Ropo Ewenla, the programme tagged the Legacy Series will hold at the University of Ibadan. Ewenla says, “The IFC offers its members and other interested groups and individuals a unique platform to interact and collaborate on projects, to discuss the state of culture and the arts from a global perspective, and to intervene in matters concerning policies on film, theatre, and other relevant sectors of the arts and culture industry in Nigeria.
“The weekly IFC Warm Seat offers members an opportunity to meet people in similar vocations and share experiences through WhatsApp group chats while the bi-monthly IFC Legacy Series creates an occasion for members and other interested members of the public to meet and physically interact with accomplished filmmakers and others in the arts and culture industry,” he notes in a statement.
The first two editions of the Legacy Series featured Alhaji Adegboyega Arulogun, a seasoned arts administrator and broadcaster, and veteran comedian, Moses Olaiya, popularly called Baba Sala.
